Who Should Apply
CIRCAA was designed as a faculty and clinician development program. Our Scholars come from many professions, including medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, social work, gerontology, and case management.
Program Requirements
• Engaged attendance of at least 70% of the monthly sessions and retreats.
• Complete reading and assignments each month in preparation for meeting activities and discussion
• Complete and present a Quality Improvement Project.
Quality Improvement Project
Learners will work with VGEC mentors and their fellow Scholars on a Quality Improvement Project over the course of the program. They will develop, implement, and evaluate an interprofessional curricular or practice-based quality improvement project action plan, incorporating the content and experience provided by the program. Program Fee
All-inclusive registration fee of $1,000.00 includes retreat costs (hotel rooms, meals, etc.), continuing education credits, and registration at either the Virginia Geriatrics Society conference or the Southern Gerontological Society conference in April 2024.
