Kimberly S. Ivey, MS
Education and Student Services Coordinator
Kim Ivey is the Education and Student Services Coordinator for the Virginia Center on Aging and Dept. of Gerontology. Her responsibilities include communications and student services, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield. She is involved in several VCoA initiatives, including the VCU Nursing Home ECHO and the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP). Kim has been associated with VCoA since 1994, and earned her Masters Degree in Gerontology from VCU’s Department of Gerontology. She has many years of experience working in long-term care and in educating caregivers and professionals about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
