Dr. John Lemza has been serving as President of the Board of Directors for the LLI in Chesterfield since 2016. He has been a member of the board since 2006, and a member of the teaching faculty at the LLI since 2005. He taught at the Elderhostel Chautauqua at Natural Bridge, VA from 2009-2011. Dr. Lemza is a history professor at VCU. He holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MA from VCU, and a PhD from George Mason University. He served over twenty years in the US Army as an infantry officer.
