VCoA Publications & Media
Age in Action Newsletter
VCoA's quarterly publication, Age in Action, has three times been named the best aging-related media product in the South.
Each quarter, VCoA's Director, Ed Ansello, Ph.D., addresses a contemporary issue in aging with an editorial published in Age in Action. Readers have asked Dr. Ansello to post these separately to aid in broader communication and to ease searches on these topics.
VCoA and its programs have created published reports on topics ranging from Alzheimer's caregiving, recruiting and retaining direct service workers, to alcohol and older adults.
Each year the Virginia Center on Aging (VCoA) summarizes its activities into an annual report. This report consists of accomplishments of the just-completed year and goals for the upcoming year. It is now organized by fiscal year but historically had been organized by calendar- year. VCoA continues the practice of providing an annual report to the Virginia General Assembly when it convenes each January.
